An Italian prolific female form bearing tasty, lasting fruits (Mini Kiwi), with a smooth, edible skin. Oblong, slightly elongated, greenish-yellow berries ripen in October. It starts bearing fruit in its third or fourth year after planting. Sustains frosts up to –25oC. Warm sheltered site and moderately moist, fertile soil are needed. Actinidia climb by twining, it’s suitable for growing over various supports, arbours, pergolas and trellises or may be trained on wires stretched across the poles. Particularly useful for house gardens, garden plots and production plantations.
