Spikenard Ampelopsis |
Vigorous climber with very original, large (up to 50 cm long) doubly pinnate leaves on reddish leaf petioles. The upper side is glossy dark green and has an attractive texture, the bottom is matt blue-green. Inconspicuous flowers appear in June. Small purple then black berries (8 mm across), gathered in bunches, ripen in September - October. It climbs by means of tendrils that twine round the support. |
