Large (13-15 cm in diameter) silky white flowers with coffee anthers on white filaments are borne profusely over a long period, from May until October. It climbs by means of twining leaf petioles and is suitable for growing over trellises, stakes and other low garden supports. Makes a good container plant. It can also clamber through natural supports e.g. deciduous and coniferous shrubs that don’t require hard pruning. Provides a wonderful display when planted against a dark background.
