Texensis GroupClematis 'Lady Bird Johnson' |
A perennial cultivar with tulip-shaped, upward-facing flowers, which, when fully open, reveal yellow anthers. Textured, purple-red tepals with a crimson bar. Flowers are produced profusely from June to September and transform into very decorative, golden seed heads. Ideal for growing on arbours, pergolas and various garden supports (e.g. trellises, poles) in a sunny, warm spot. It looks lovely climbing over small, deciduous or coniferous trees or shrubs. |
