Polish variety raised by Szczepan Marczyński, available for purchase from summer 2012. Flowers are 10-12 cm in diameter, of white-blue colour, full, round or semi-spherical when full-blown (30-50 sepals), both on old and new wood. Elliptical, pointed and slightly wavy sepals, pointing down. Darker on the edges and lighter in the middle and at the base. 1-5 cm length and 1-4 cm width. Stamens consist of yellow anthers on white-cream filaments. Light-yellow pistils. Blooms profusely nearly from the very bottom of the plant in June-July. It usually continues flowering in August, although less profusely. Simple or trifoliate leaves are 7-10 cm long and 4-6 cm wide, glossy light-green with purple petioles and new leaves’ edges. Reaches 2 m in height. Attaches itself to the support by means of twining leaf petioles. Suitable for growing along trellises, poles and other kinds of lower garden supports. It could climb natural supports such as deciduous or coniferous shrubs. Thrives in sunny sites and looks particularly well displayed against dark background.
