XVIII International Exhibition Flowers 2011

31 August - 3 September, Moscow, Russia. This year’s International Flower Exhibition Flowers (Cwiety) assembled 355 exhibitors from Europe, Asia, South America and Australia. In the new, 16000 square meters large exhibition hall were displayed plants and products used in nurseries, floristry and horticulture.

At the official opening Mr. Marek Ociepka, Counsellor-Minister and The Head of Economic and Trade Section of the Polish Embassy in Moscow appeared. Sz. Marczyński, W. Piotrowski Clematis Container Nursery together with 10 other nurseries belonging to The Polish Nurserymen Association presented its plants at a joint stand that occupied an area of over 150 m ².

The stand arranged in a red and white colour scheme to mark its national character gained the Organizers’ recognition and was awarded the Silver Medal and a diploma in the Best designed and arranged stand category. For The Novelty contest we submitted three cultivars recently raised by Szczepan Marczyński: Clematis 'Beautiful Bride', 'Krakowiak' and 'Sweet Summer Love', which were all awarded the Silver Medal.
