Vitis coignetiae - Crimson Glory Vine is a vigorous climber with conspicuous large leaves turning brilliant crimson in autumn. It attains a height of over 10 m (with up to 4 m of annual growth). It has little soil requirements and is frost hardy.
Suitable for covering tall fences, arbours and strong supports. Prune when it starts suppressing the growth neighbouring plants, best in late autumn or winter, before the start of the growing season, as otherwise it will bleed sap.
Vitis riparia - Frost Grape
A vigorous climber with inconspicuous fragrant flowers in June and large leaves that turn yellow in autumn. It climbs using leaf tendrils and reaches a height of up to 10 m (1-2 m of annual growth). Prune when necessary.
